PRISTINE

package design | branding

-Soap packaging
-3 market positions: Luxury, organic, high end
-Cut and built by hand

Pristine soap is approached from the perspective of a packaging designer, focusing on how design choices shape the way consumers perceive a product. The three soap packages represent different market positions, generic, high end, and organic and explore how visual elements can communicate price point, quality, and brand values.

Each product focuses on conveying high end, generic, and organic through specific choices of typography, color, pattern, and graphics. Specific browns were used to achieve an organic feeling, with a very bare design to reflect the natural ingredients used. Sans serifs, pharmaceutical blues, and a clean approach was used on the generic soap. Lastly, for the high end category I chose an elegant serif, floral patterns, and a deep purple to emphasize a product that is luxurious. The designs create a successful identity for each that reflects the purpose of the product.
